**HMUA WATER SUPPLY UPDATE**November 1, 2012 at 5:29 pm The HMUA Water Supply system has continued to provide an uninterruped supply of safe drinking water to our customers. Electric power has been restored to the majority of Water Supply facilities and the standby generators have been shutdown. Electric power has also been restored to HMUA's Water Pollution Control Plant allowing the two standby generators serving that facility to be shutdown. We understand that a Boil Water order may have been issued by the Independence MUA for portions of Independence Township. The Order is not for the HMUA Service Area. If you are an HMUA customer than you are not affected by this situation. |
