The Hackettstown Municipal Utilities Authority (HMUA) has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk/Customer Service Representative. Position includes processing of payments in Quickbooks, balancing of monthly bank statements, budget tracking, assistance with customer billing and other projects as requested, and other related general office duties as required.

Requires at least 5 years of accounts payable experience, in addition to at least 5 years of experience in customer service. Requires excellent computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  Candidate must demonstrate understanding of bookkeeping principles and Quickbooks.  Familiarity with use of water/sewer billing software highly desirable; Edmunds experience preferred.  Candidate must have the ability to multi-task and be self-motivated to work effectively with little direction or oversight in fast paced, team oriented office environment.  Candidate must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
