NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:14B-23, the Hackettstown Municipal Utilities Authority will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at the HMUA Administration Building, 424 Hurley Drive, Hackettstown, NJ, at 3:30 PM, to consider the adoption of Water and Sewer Charges.

The proposed above rate adjustments will be considered to become effective December 1, 2026. Fire Service Charges and Miscellaneous Fees and Charges will remain unchanged.
Beginning December 1, 2026, water charges for an average Residential Single Family customer using 20,000 gallons per Quarter are proposed to increase from $76.48 to $80.32, an increase of $3.84 per Quarter. Sewer Charges are proposed to increase from $75.07 to $75.82, an increase of $0.75 per Quarter.
The Proposed Rate Schedule is available for inspection at the HMUA Administration Building or can be viewed at www.hmua.com.
All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and to offer comment and pose questions to the person(s) offering evidence in support of the proposed actions.
